I recently installed the xinetd package on my Debian 2.0 system and started receiving the following errors during bootup:
Oct 12 16:52:26 xena xinetd[137]: open of /dev/tty failed: Device not configured Oct 12 16:52:26 xena xinetd[137]: Server /usr/sbin/in.ntalkd is not executable [line=112] Oct 12 16:52:26 xena xinetd[137]: Server /usr/sbin/in.talkd is not executable [line=121] Oct 12 16:52:26 xena xinetd[137]: Service ntalk missing attribute server Oct 12 16:52:26 xena xinetd[137]: Service talk missing attribute server Can anyone point me in the right direction to get rid of these? Any help would be appreciated.
