I have a scanner hooked to a parallel port, and from the scanner, to my printer. This setup used to work in Redhat on my older system. Someone on a IRC chat told me to email you about it. Whoever you are. I have lp integrated in the kernel, I do not have it as a module. I used to, and it still did not work. In my dmesg dump, I get
