hmm, junkbuster worked for a while, happily blocked the ads, but after a few minutess, *everything* gets blocked. If I click on a page I haven't opened before, i get a message saying that netscape's connection was refused by the server, and that i should try back later .
all i've found to stop this is to turn the proxy off. rick, who'd find shutting off animated gifs more useful anyway --
