Backspace and Delete weirds

        Hi Debian users,
        I have a problem. My /etc/X11/Xresources have the following lines:
        *VT100.Translations: #override <Key>BackSpace: string("\177")\n\
                                       Meta<Key>BackSpace: 
string("\033\177")\n\ 
                                      <Key>Delete: string("\033[3~")\n\
                                      <Key>Home: string("\033OH")\n\
                                      <Key>End: string("\033OF")
        and the backspace and delete keys don't properly type the expected 
behaviour.
        Any help is apreciated.
