Sorry to bother everyone here, but I have been getting a lot of segmentation faults lately and I was wondering what causes them. I think I have heard on this list before that it is causes by bad memory chips and just wanted to verify this. Also have been getting general protection faults. I thought that only happened in Windoze....:). Anyway could that also be caused by memory faults? I have been running Debian since April of this year and this has only been happening in the last week or so.
Here is my kernal log with the gpf's.
