you know you might be right :) i just phoned my isp and they confermed that i had to send a lowercase ppp to activate my ppp session lots of rolling eyes and gasping well i am going to go home tonight and check if it is the case i will be very angery and very happy because i have spent about 3 months on and off and even resorted to using windows :( anyway if it does work i will start pestering yall with questions about gcc :) and if it doesnt well ......
