I installed arla about one month ago,.. I tried version 0.8 and 0.9,.. compiling all that worked fine,.. demo modus worked too very well! But I couldnt not really install the deamon. After playing around for 2 hors or so I decided to wait for at least the next version. May be you fetch the sources from http://www.stacken.kth.se/projekt/arla/. The instructions how to complie it are very clear. Hey! this must have been one of the first sources I could compile without (any) problems:)
Best wishes Selim PS: I run hamm. (may be it was slink,.. but think I switched to slink just very recently,.. I am not sure; I dont think it does matter at all) Max wrote: > > Has anyone here had any success either compiling Arla or installing > the RPM package with alien?
