I just downloaded debian 2.0 linux and I want to install it on a SMP Wyse7000i machine. This machine has 2 486 processor. After reading the documentation, I have a question. After downloading, do I install debian 2.0 first, and then re-compile the kernel to take advantage of the SMP, or should I recompile in the begining? What is the proper step to this? thanks shane
