Abit TX5 and AMD K6-200 OK for Linux?

Any negative or positive feedback on running Linux on an Abit TX5 main board
with an AMD K6-200 cpu?
I have the chance to upgrade my work PC (Win95) , and I will be adding a
Linux partition.
