I am having trouble with my backspace key in X. It acts as the delete key rather than the backspace, deleting characters after the cursor rather than backspacing over them.
This only occurs in X apps, not in the xterm windows. For example Netscape, XPaint, etc... Anyone know how to fix this problem. Everything is set to default as far as I can see. I have noticed that every once in a great while, the backspace works properly but not often.
