Most of the Compaq QVisions were Cirrus Logic - CL-GD5434 chipsets. I've set up a couple, and use the SVGA server.
I also had to use the Tab and Shift-Tab keys to select PS/2 mouse, /dev/psaux for port, and then down to Apply.
