Apt is in slink, we can not put it in stable. Autoup.sh apparently still has a flake now and then. There is a howto in the hamm directory (I believe) which tells you step by step how and what to update by hand. This is how I and many others do it. Once you update the 5 or so needed packages, the rest can be handled by dselect. The Hamm CD's ship w/ the howto and the autoup.sh. I believe that apt is going to be there to.
