Ok, I have the right package now. I looked at the make-kpkg man file and its a lot more complicated then I had hoped :)
I ran make-kpkg and it just made the files again as I had before. I probably changed a ton of things in the .config file while I was messing things up with the stuff I was doing before. What is the easiest way for me to take the kernel I am currently using (the default one) and add the soundblaster support. Or if there isn't an easy way, what order of steps should I use to make a kernel? thanks again! Doug G.
