If I make a self-signed certificate using 'ssl-certificate' on Apache SSL (Debian Testing i386) Mozilla, Netscape and PC Explorers will accept the certificate after a warning.
However Macintosh Explorer 5 clients on OSX and OS9 will not move to the ssl site, declaring "The certificate is invalid". Trying to load the raw certificate after exporting it on the Linux box or by exporting it from the PC Explorer box does not work either. Any insight and, ideally, fixes much needed!
