This is probably a FAQ, or some keyboard thing, but ever since I compiled and installed XEmacs 20.4 on hamm unstable, I've lost my META key. I'm not sure if it was the XEmacs or Debian upgrade that did it, or something else.
When I press M-g (which as a developer I use frequently) I get "A-g not defined". So my ALT key has reverted to ALT behaviour, instead of META which I am sure it was before. What has changed? I'm need my M-g!
