I am trying to get my Linux box to connect to my Novell server and I am having some trouble. I have all the things that need to loaded, loaded. NCPFS is loaded and ipx support is there. The problems that I am having are as follows:
if I type ipx_interface add -p eth0 802.2 I get a response back that eth0 is down. Linux sees the card when it boots and loads the drivers for it with no problem. also if I type cat /proc/filesystems ncpfs is listed as a known filesystem for linux. I recompiled the kernel and said yes to both ipx and ncp. And i have downed linux a couple of times since then. Keith BTW I can not restart Linux without it locking up with it is trying to load the floppy disk. I works if I shut it down and power it off. I am running Debian 1.3 kernel 2.0.29 and it is running on a DELL 486 50 mhz with 16 MB RAM. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
