I have a Diamond Speedstar Pro and am running the svga server. VGA: chipset: clgd5429 SVGA: videoram: 1024k
When I try: startx -- -bpp 16 the screen locks up and the colors are strange (black screen, odd green lines at top of screen). After a couple of minutes I can move the mouse around the screen as long as I don't move it over the xterm window, at which time it locks up again. I can run at -bpp 8 ok.
