No, these aren't different source formats. You need all three files. : I guess the .orig.tar.gz ones are standard tar.gz files but what are the .dsc : and diff.gz formats? *.orig.tar.gz denotes pristine source. *.dsc is the description file ... also contains md5sums and PGP signature. *.diff.gz is the diff file.
