Not very much, I think. Do you mean the Cyrix 6x86 (M1), or the 6x86MX, or maybe even just 6x86L? I've had an original 6x86-P166+ (133MHz part) running 24x7 under Linux 2.0.32 for four or five months now, and I had the same CPU on a different motherboard in a dual boot NT/Linux system for another 8 months before that without incident.
