I'm considering filing a bug against ftp.debian.org to have the rosegarden
package in hamm removed and put in slink,  as rosegarden is largely
unusable for things such as midi keyboard input and score typesetting.
Since these are the things it purports itself able to do,  it seems that
the program is "broken" or "excessively buggy" in it's current state,  and
I don't have time at the moment to fix all the code.

However,  if users (other than me) of the package consider it useable in
its current state,  I'll leave it in hamm.  Remember that if it is in
slink,  users likely won't be required to upgrade their entire system
just to use it,  as they would have with the bo-hamm transition.  At the
moment the entire Rosegarden suite is slated for a rewrite into C++ by the
developers and the reengineering of the interface into gtk--.
