Hi, Peter! I hope you took cyrillic fonts from Debian distribution, then it's already preorganised. One thing to check is that in your /etc/X11/XF86Config there is a line:
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic"
After that you enable cyrillic font in Netscape thru preferences windows as
usual.
