The configfile changed format from binary to text.

XISPRCCV

   xisprccv is a .xisprc file converter for version 1.2 and up to the
  current version, and it is run without arguments. Before performing the
  upgrade, it creates a backup copy of the user's .xisprc file in her/his
  home directory, with a '-V.R' suffix, where 'V' is the version and 'R'
  the revision number.
                                            

You can find this tool in /usr/lib/xisp
