Well, not easily, completely, or freely, and what free capability there is isn't available as a Debian package, as far as I know. The free GLX project is spearheaded by Steve Parker. Take a look at www.cs.utah.edu/~sparker/xfree86-3d. On the commercial side you can look at Metrolink (www.metrolink.com) and Xi Graphics (www.xig.com). They both claim to have GLX extensions in their X Servers. None of them, as far as I know, have any support for hardware acceleration. Some of these issues are covered in the Linux 3Dfx HOWTO (http://www.ssc.com/linux/LDP/HOWTO/3Dfx-HOWTO.html). Unfortunately I haven't had time to seriously look into this but if you do please keep me (and the list) up to date!
