I'm assuming you mean "Pipeline 50", and that's a dandy little piece of hardware! That's beside the point though. I can't offer you help but I share in your misery. I've had the same problem with a MicroRouter 900i. I've got everything set for syslog but I've never gotten a message from the thing. I gave up, assuming the unit just didn't work right, but now that I hear this I'm starting to wonder if maybe the syslog daemon isn't playing nice. Let me know if you figure anything out.
