take a look at smart_user ... 
in /etc/smail/directors:
smart_user:
        driver=smartuser;
        [EMAIL PROTECTED],
        well_formed_only,

as $user you can substitute ... postmaster or any user on your system. This
user get all the mails and can deliver it later...
