-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi,
for some reason my TeX package got broken and I decided to reinstall it. But everytime I get: Setting up tetex-extra (0.4pl6-4) ... kpsetool: texmf.cnf not found. texhash: global Kpathsea configurarion file texmf.cnf not found. Please set the environment variable TETEXDIR or TEXMFCNF correctly. For details see the teTeX and the Kpathsea manual kpsetool: texmf.cnf not found. texhash: global Kpathsea configurarion file texmf.cnf not found. Please set the environment variable TETEXDIR or TEXMFCNF correctly. For details see the teTeX and the Kpathsea manual kpsetool: language.dat not found. kpsetool: modes.mf not found. kpsetool: texmf.cnf not found. /usr/bin/texconfig: cd: /web2c: No such file or directory Error opening terminal: generic. /usr/bin/texconfig: /tmp/texconf8069/logfile: No such file or directory Output of initex is in /tmp/texconfig.out I tried to set TETEXDIR to /usr and TEXMFCNF to .:/etc/texmf. Unpacking the files is alright and tetex writes some *.dpkg-new files in /etc/texmf. But as soon as postinstallation starts (I think it is then) all files are deleted and I get the above error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (ASAP - I need it desperately) Regards Ralf ____________________________________________________________________ Ralf Comtesse Tel: +49-30-28599230 Gipsstr. 15 Fax: +49-30-28599231 10119 Berlin e-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: noconv iQB1AwUBNGzt1A+XSzNOWOS5AQGtngL+J9RYOzGESD8wToP4B6pbKB4EBBSiUCmA YbROw1i3BnDTjKVYr7j29oOhPHx+7NnykVKb/gpQ/VuP+9uLLWCeVJHfaO25THpG IM2ynvOtqgcYvWCOA8r2gG+AkkYk8V43 =zOhN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
