In order to build 2.0.30, I had to: ln /usr/lib/gcc-lin/i486-linux/2.7.2.1/include/stddef.h \ /usr/include/stddef.h and likewise stdarg.h prior to make dep. In addition, neither make xconfig nor make menuconfig would work (a minor inconvenience) and I had to run make config three times. I'd had a mojor hassle with installing and uninstalling libc5 from hamm immediately before this, so I suppose that might be at the root of the problem(s). Did anyone else run into these? Is there something I need to do to bring my system up to snuff?
