On the matter of XF86Setup, has this program been fixed? In 1.2 release, XF86Setup writes it's configuration file (XF86Config) to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11. The problem is that the XF86Config at that location is a symbolic link to /etc/X11/XF86Config and the Xwindow servers use /etc/X11/XF86Config. So after you use XF86Setup, the symbolic link is trashed and the configuration file is in the wrong location. I manually fix this by: 1) copying /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config to /etc/X11 2) deleting /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config 3) renaming the symbolic link back to XF86Config (in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11) -- -= Sent by Debian 1.2 Linux =- Thomas Kocourek KD4CIK - member of ARRL @[EMAIL PROTECTED]@westgac3.dragon.com Remove @_@ for correct Email address --... ...-- ... -.. . -.- -.. ....- -.-. .. -.- -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
