I finally got the public browsing to work with samba des... I still can't log on to any accounts. Heres what I've tried
normal configuration - security = user, encrypted passwords = yes connect to \\server\homedir%username tried using passwords which were all lower or upper case security = share encrypted passwords = yes connect to \\server\homedir tried using passwords which were all lower or upper case -permissions: -rw------- root root -passwords changed by smbpasswd -samba des version 1.9.16p11 -clients using windows 95 any ideas? -Paul -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
