mmmhhh, ok, so I disabled .Xresources and .xsession and also did *not* set the OLWMMENU environment variable: No luck, though: The workspace menu works with xdm disabled, but fails to work when I log in via xdm. I also checked .xsession-errors and /var/log/xdm-errors, but the first file is empty and the second doesn't say anything suspicious. So, does anyone know of another error file that may contain diagnostic information?
