I'm getting a lot of the following error messages on the console of one of my boxes. It's a 386DX/40 with a PPP link to an ISP.
ppp: frame with bad fcs, excess = 2a48 It seems that for each one of these, ifconfig reports an error on the ppp0 interface. Any ideas what fcs stands for? Any ideas on why this is occuring? I'm running IRQTune. It's a 16450 UART. I'm running the port at 38400bps. I've run the same on similar 386's and have had no problems.... TIA for any help/suggestions.
