When I invoke GNUS, it says: nnspoll() open error: The active file doesn't exist:/usr/lib/news/active.
But my Debian box hat active file under /var/lib/news, not /usr/lib/news. When I invoke "CVS Update Directory" with the Menu Tools/VC, XEmacs says it can't find file /usr/local/bin/cvs. My Debian have installed cvs in /usr/bin. Are they bugs? Should I write a bug report? I have only a line in my .emacs: (setq gnus-select-method '(nnspool "")) I am using Debian 3.1, kernel version 2.029, cvs 1.9-4, xemacs 19.14-1 and xemacs-support 19.14-1. -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
