Jeff Penn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Not sure about this. Did you try a modprobe snd-via8233 ? This is wrong. ALSA 0.9rc5 changed to a common VIA driver. The new name is snd-via82xx, so Sridhar's original modprobe was correct. I have an ASUS A7v333 motherboard with VIA 8233 audio. I haven't been able to get mine working either. After compiling several kernels and many drivers I finally gave up and bought an M-Audio Delta 66 card, which works very well. Hope you have better luck than I did... -- Jack O'Quin Austin, Texas, USA -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
