Yes. I think this approach would be better while dbootstrap/cfdisk
installation formats with ext2 by default. Do you need to mention mixing
ext2 and ext3 on the same disc?
Why don't all fresh installations use ext3 by default? Is this beacause of the way cfdisk is configured?
