Installed 'rxvt' to replace xterm. I see no app-defaults 'Rxvt' file in the dist ribution and the colors are not displayed. Why ?? Have 'dircolors' set in /etc/p rofile. Am getting colors only when working on a debian console but not within a rxvt window neither on a xterm window.
