Using dselect (via ftp), I downloaded and installed the 2.0.30 kernel
source, plus five other files dselect wanted (gcc et cetera).  Seemed
to go okay.  /usr/source/linux was created with lots of files and
subdirectories.

I changed to /usr/src/linux, typed   make config   and pressed enter.
I received this message:

bash: make: command not found

What am I doing wrong?
