Using dselect (via ftp), I downloaded and installed the 2.0.30 kernel source, plus five other files dselect wanted (gcc et cetera). Seemed to go okay. /usr/source/linux was created with lots of files and subdirectories.
I changed to /usr/src/linux, typed make config and pressed enter. I received this message: bash: make: command not found What am I doing wrong?
