Err, I not sure to understand what you mean but:
  1) mkisofs allows you to build a iso image from files on disk
  2) dd (or cat) allows you to make a byte copy of a cd-rom
  3) cdwrite or cdrecord allow you to write an image obtained from 1 or 2.
All of these are debian packages (cdrecord is in hamm, but should work in a bo 
system).
