I think this is quite slow(goes through all packets every time), so I use the following instead:
* mount /cdrom/ * use the FTP method, which effectively copies the file to a directory on hard disk, and installs from there. Much faster, but a bit too complicated, perhaps. Could these maybe combine into a new method, skipping the FTP bit, and just make symlinks (or copy the file into a directory) and install from there instead.
