The StarOffice READMEs warn that it will be slower, from memory. In any case, I would have to say that on my hardware (Cyrix 6x86 P150+, 32mb, Trio64V+ video card), Word 95 is noticably faster than StarWriter, which is quite disappointing. I would have thought anyone could wirite a faster WP than MS ...
