Hi. I have an EISA 486, with an ISA 16-bit TIGA gr. card, with and onboard Tseng ET4000 SVGA chip. I have configured XF86_SVGA, with the correct settings about monitor and graphics adapter (one can never be too sure, but i have tripple-checked the configuration). However, window borders leave traces when moved and button borders frequently appear distorted and/or leave traces on screen. What can i do?
And something secondary: if you know ways to speed-up this old VGA by configuring X differently (without upgrading, that is) i would be very gratefull. Thanks in advance and sorry, if i'm too irrelevant with the contents of the list, but i'm really new at this. -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
