Keep netenv and configure /etc/network/interfaces to use different configurations. For instance, I have: ---------------------------------------- mapping eth0 script /usr/local/sbin/map-scheme map eth0-loria map eth0-nerim iface eth0-loria inet dhcp iface eth0-nerim inet static address 192.168.0.3 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.1 ---------------------------------------- (I've never tried the loria environment, but it should work.) /usr/local/sbin/map-scheme is: . /etc/netenv/netenv 0 echo eth0-$netenv_id For instance, /etc/netenv/netenv is something like, for nerim: netenv_id=nerim # exported variables... if [ $# = 0 ]; then # Change of configuration files... fi HTH, -- Vincent Lefèvre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.org/> - 100% validated (X)HTML - Acorn Risc PC, Yellow Pig 17, Championnat International des Jeux Mathématiques et Logiques, TETRHEX, etc. Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / SPACES project at LORIA -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
