Are md5 checksums available for individiual binaries within each package?
This, would IMO provide a means for authenticating a systems binaries on an already installed system, _before_ locking it up with something like tripwire.. (if you havent just done a clean reinstall) ie, I dont want to run tripwire until the binaries I monitor have been authenticated. I would like to see these md5sums available on the main debian sites, and wont use them (nor I hope anyone else) until they have been verified. I think that the entire Debian community would benefit from this. any comments? Silvio
