Trying to install Debian 1.2 (rex) on my laptop from a PCMCIA (SCSI) CD-ROM drive (besides the seven installation floppy disks), I ran into the following problems:
First, I got an error message indicating that the PCMCIA drivers could not be found on the device driver floppy disk. Second, `/etc/scd0' is missing so that dselect did not mount my CD-ROM drive. What to do? Andreas Nolda
