I was under the impression that EVERY windows program used a set of basic DLL's. Now I'll admit, it's been almost a year since I did much serious windows programming, but I'm pretty sure that there are some basic DLL's used by every windows program. Also, there are basic DLL's you need for say... a program compiled with borland's compiler.
