When I do a 'su' and type in the passwd, it kicks me out with a "Broken pipe" When this is happening, I also can't telnet into the machine; the telnet session gets closed. What could be causing this? Where could I look to diagnose the problem? (nothing unusual is showing up in /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog).
