GOOD YEAR everyone,
After host plato is halted, I ping it from another host on the same ethernet. Plato responds with echo replies! Both hosts are on debian 1.2 . Maybe something is wrong with shutdown, but except for ethernet collisions I cannot think of any other consequences.
