Hi, What are the default file permissions for /dev/cdrom and /dev/hdc on Debian? I want ordinary users to be able to access the CDROM drive but at the moment, /dev/cdrom is readable by everyone but linked to /dev/hdc which can be read by the disk group. What is the debian way for this?
