Does anybody know how to prevent a banner page from being printed? I'm printing to an HP4M and after each print job a banner page gets printed (it looks like the contents of the cf file). There used to be a "no banner" switch for printcap, but I didn't see one in the Linux man page. Any ideas?
By the way, when I print to a QMS PS printer here, I don't get the banner page (although they're different queues and printcap entries). I'm using apsfilter in case that's useful. I also checked the printer, but there doesn't appear to be any console function to turn this on or off and I'm the only one that gets it. Thanks in advance. Richard G.
