You should report this as bugs, (as well as possibly sending it
to debian-user). A bug-report gets sent to the maintainer of the
package immediately, so that s/he can take action. If you send
it to debian-user, s/he might read it the next day, but I often
read debian-user only once a week.

So, have you sent your bug-report already?
