Hey all, This is in regards to the discussion concerning 'fatal signal 11' under GCC 2.7.2 on my machine. Resetting the CPU type from 120Mhz to 100Mhz resolved the problem. I'm not exactly sure why, but it worked. Thanks to all who responded for their suggestions. I am still curious about what could be the culprit here. Clearly, there is a problem with the CPU, as I have had this problem with 2 different mainboards and this same chip... what I'm wondering is what, specifically, might be the problem. I have a very unfriendly dealer :(, and would like to exchange it, but I may need to be able to point at something and say 'that's the problem'.
